**Imphal, Manipur – May 5, 2025** – Young mountaineer Bhukya Yashwanth from Telangana has added another peak to his impressive list of conquests, successfully summiting Mount Iso (also known as Tempu), the highest peak in Manipur. This achievement is part of his ongoing “Har Shikhar Par Tiranga” mission, which aims to hoist the Indian national flag on the highest peak of every Indian state.

Yashwanth, who was accompanied by Col. Sandeep Sharma and Lt. Col. Siddharth of the 16th Battalion Assam Rifles, reached the 2,994-meter summit on Sunday, May 4th. Mount Iso, located in the Barail Range on the Manipur-Nagaland border, presents a significant challenge to climbers.

This latest success builds on Yashwanth’s already remarkable mountaineering career, which includes ascents of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa), Mount Elbrus (Europe), Mount Kosciuszko (Australia), and several prominent Indian peaks like Mount Gorichen (Arunachal Pradesh) and Mount Yunam (Himachal Pradesh). He has also reached Mount Everest Base Camp.

Yashwanth stated that each summit is a tribute to the Indian flag and national spirit, expressing his hope to inspire young people across India to pursue ambitious goals and maintain a strong sense of national pride.
