**Hosur, Tamil Nadu:** A gym trainer, Bhaskar, has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Sasikala, in Hosur, Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu. The couple, married for seven years and parents to two children, had been experiencing marital problems stemming from Bhaskar’s affair with a government teacher.
Bhaskar, who owns four gyms in the area, met Sasikala on Facebook in 2018. Their relationship initially blossomed, but deteriorated after Bhaskar began an affair. Sasikala confronted him about the relationship, leading to frequent arguments.
On April 30th, Bhaskar consumed alcohol with Sasikala. He then tied her hands and feet to the bed before strangling her with a piece of cloth. He initially attempted to portray her death as natural causes, taking her body to a hospital claiming she had a nosebleed. However, doctors pronounced her dead.
Suspicious injuries on Sasikala’s neck during the autopsy prompted her family to file a complaint. Police investigation revealed the truth, leading to Bhaskar’s arrest and confession. He is currently in police custody facing murder charges. The case highlights the tragic consequences of infidelity and domestic disputes.
