**New Delhi, May 4, 2025** – The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 was conducted today across India. Over 22.7 lakh candidates sat for the three-hour exam, which ran from 2 pm to 5 pm at 5,453 centers in over 500 cities.
The exam, administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), covered Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology), with 180 compulsory questions. Candidates were required to bring their admit cards, two passport-sized photographs (matching those on their applications), a postcard-sized photograph, and a valid photo ID. Items such as watches, jewelry, electronic devices, and heavy clothing were prohibited. Exam centers opened three hours prior to the exam, with entry cut off at 1:30 pm.
