**Colombo, Sri Lanka** – India’s impressive start to the ongoing women’s tri-series in Sri Lanka has propelled two of its young batters to career-best rankings. Following a nine-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the opening match, opener Pratika Rawal climbed 10 spots to 47th in the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings after scoring an unbeaten 50. Teammate Harleen Deol also achieved a career-high ranking, moving up four places to 49th following her unbeaten 48 in the same match.

While India dominated, Sri Lanka also saw some positive movement. Opener Hasini Perera climbed five spots to 72nd after scoring 30 runs, and spinner Inoka Ranaweera jumped two places to 25th in the ODI bowlers’ rankings after taking the only Sri Lankan wicket, dismissing Smriti Mandhana. India’s Sneh Rana also made a notable re-entry into the ODI bowlers’ rankings at 57th following a three-wicket haul. England’s Sophie Ecclestone remains the top-ranked ODI bowler.
