HYDERABAD, INDIA – A case has been registered against popular YouTuber and travel vlogger Anvesh at the Cyberabad Cyber Crime police station. The case stems from a video Anvesh posted alleging that Telangana DGP Jitender, Hyderabad Metro MD NVS Reddy, and IAS officers Shanti Kumari, Dana Kishore, and Vikas Raju misappropriated ₹300 crore under the guise of promoting betting apps on the Hyderabad Metro.
Police filed a suo moto FIR, stating the video spread false and misleading information, causing public confusion and damaging the reputation of government officials and legitimate organizations. The complaint alleges the video was intended to incite animosity against the government. A constable from the Cyber Crime station filed the complaint.
Anvesh, known for his travel vlogs showcasing various countries, now faces legal action for the content of his video. The police are investigating the matter further.
