**Bengaluru, May 4, 2025** – A 19-year-old delivery executive, Preetham, was abducted and murdered in Devanahalli, Karnataka, police confirmed on Saturday. Preetham, employed by a quick commerce company for the past five months, was last seen leaving for work on Friday. His father, Ramachandra H, reported him missing after failing to reach him.

According to Preetham’s colleague, Shrikanth, along with four accomplices, picked him up in a car. The motive appears to stem from a love triangle. Preetham was reportedly in a relationship with Shrikanth’s cousin, an MBBS student. Shrikanth had previously warned Preetham to end the relationship, even resorting to assault, but Preetham continued seeing her.

Preetham’s body was discovered near a government primary school on Saturday, bearing signs of torture. Devanahalli police have registered a case of murder and abduction, and are actively pursuing the suspects, who are currently at large. The investigation is ongoing.
