**Kalpetta, India (May 4, 2025)** – Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has pledged her party’s full support for any action the Indian government takes in response to the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives. Speaking during a visit to Wayanad, Gandhi reiterated the Congress Working Committee’s (CWC) resolution supporting decisive government action and expressed hope for a swift response.
The CWC, which includes party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and former presidents Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, met earlier this week and condemned the attack. They also urged the central government to hold Pakistan accountable for its alleged role in exporting terrorism and to investigate serious security and intelligence failures in the heavily guarded region.
