**RAYACHOTI, Andhra Pradesh –** Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Transport, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, announced a government initiative to boost the dairy sector in Rayalaseema. Speaking at the inauguration of a new cattle shed (Mini Gokulam) in Annamayya district on Sunday, May 4th, the Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to improving the lives of dairy farmers.

The government is investing ₹2.5 lakh in constructing Mini Gokulams across villages to provide shelter and protection for livestock. Reddy highlighted the significant role of women farmers in the dairy sector and urged all farmers to take advantage of government support programs to increase milk production. He expressed confidence that the dairy industry is poised for significant growth in the region. The event was attended by officials from the Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, and Horticulture departments, as well as senior TDP leaders.
