TIRUCHI, India (May 4, 2025) – A strong 97% turnout marked the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) in Tiruchi district today. 7,294 out of 7,519 registered candidates participated in the exam held across 15 centers. While the majority of candidates found the Chemistry and Biology sections manageable, the Physics section was reportedly more challenging. The exam, a crucial step for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs, saw approximately 220 students who participated in a free government-sponsored coaching program also take the test. The successful completion of the exam concluded at 5 p.m. following a strict security protocol at the examination halls.
