**Gonda, Uttar Pradesh:** The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted across India today, including in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh. A total of 3481 candidates appeared for the exam at eight designated centers in the district. Strict security measures were implemented to ensure a fair and peaceful examination.
Security personnel, including women security officers, were deployed at all centers. Candidates underwent thorough security checks before entering, including metal detector scans, verification of Aadhaar cards and admit cards, and enforcement of COVID-19 protocols such as mask-wearing. Parents were requested to wait outside the examination centers.
The district administration reported that flying squads were deployed to monitor for any irregularities. The district magistrate confirmed that all government guidelines were strictly followed to maintain the integrity of the examination process. Candidates were advised to arrive early to avoid delays.
