KOTTAYAM, INDIA (May 3, 2025) – Two students, Albin Joseph (21) and Amal K. Joseph (19), went missing Saturday evening after being swept away by strong currents in the Meenachil River near Bharananganam, Kerala. The students, who were attending a German language training program, were bathing near the Vilangupara bridge when the incident occurred around 4:30 PM. A third student, who escaped the strong currents, alerted locals. Despite a search effort, the students remained missing as of late Saturday evening. Police are investigating.
