**Palakkad, Kerala, May 3, 2025** – Nine cows were killed in separate incidents after being struck by three trains near Malampuzha in Palakkad district on Saturday. Railway officials suspect the Himsagar Express, Kochuveli-Yashwantpur Express, and Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram Mail were involved. Police are searching for the cows’ owner, who will face charges. This follows a similar incident last month where 13 cows were killed near Meenkara Dam.
