**Bengaluru, India** – Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s stellar performance in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) victory against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 27th has propelled him to second place in the list of all-time highest wicket-takers in the Indian Premier League (IPL). With three wickets in his four-over spell (33 runs conceded), Kumar surpassed Piyush Chawla to reach a career total of 193 wickets in 185 matches.

Kumar’s economical bowling has been instrumental in RCB’s success this season. His consistent contributions have seen the team rise to the top of the points table, securing a near-certain playoff berth with seven wins out of ten matches. Only Yuzvendra Chahal (214 wickets) remains ahead of him in the all-time list.

The match itself saw RCB chase down a modest 162-run target set by DC. While DC batsmen KL Rahul (41) and Tristan Stubbs (34) put up a fight, RCB’s bowlers, including Hazlewood (2/36), Suyash Sharma (0/22), and Krunal Pandya (1/28), restricted them effectively.
