**Kozhikode, Kerala – May 4, 2025** – Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the “Ente Keralam” expo, celebrating four years of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government’s achievements, and the National Saras Mela at Kozhikode Beach on Saturday. The Saras Mela, showcasing stalls from Women’s Self Help Groups across India, opened Friday.

Vijayan highlighted the launch of over 3.5 lakh new enterprises under the ‘Samrambhaka Varsham’ scheme, emphasizing the state’s business-friendly environment and the importance of low-capital, high-return opportunities. He lauded Kudumbashree, a women’s self-help group network, as the backbone of development, noting a ₹270 crore budget allocation.

Tourism and Public Works Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas emphasized the government’s focus on projects benefiting ordinary citizens. The expo features around 200 stalls from government departments and the Saras Mela. A vibrant procession, including traditional arts performances, preceded the inauguration. Both events will run until May 12.
