**Coimbatore, India (May 3, 2025)** – Government school students in Coimbatore are receiving a significant boost in their preparation for competitive exams like NEET and JEE thanks to a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The program, launched Saturday by District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, provides 112 government schools with tablets pre-loaded with educational content.
The initiative, a collaboration between Soft Source Technologies and the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Smart City, focuses on providing offline access to learning materials aligned with NCERT and State Board syllabi. The tablets feature AI and AR technologies to enhance learning, including interactive 3D models for science subjects and personalized test feedback.
Initially, 20 schools received tablets, with the remaining schools to receive theirs in subsequent phases. The Collector highlighted the importance of self-directed learning and the accessibility provided by the offline content. He emphasized the potential of AI-driven learning and 3D conceptualization to improve understanding of complex subjects. The School Education Department will monitor student progress and gather feedback to further refine the program.
