Thu May 01 23:30:00 UTC 2025: ## TBS Apologizes for “All-Star Thanksgiving Festival” Chaos Caused by Comedian’s Stunt

**Tokyo, April 1** – TBS has apologized for a chaotic incident during its “All-Star Thanksgiving Festival ’25 Spring” broadcast on March 29th, involving comedian Egawa 2:50’s disruptive behavior. Egawa’s actions, which included “attacking” several fellow guests, culminated in a chase of actress Megumi Nogizaka, leaving her visibly upset and in tears.

The incident sparked considerable controversy on social media, with viewers expressing both outrage and amusement. Consequently, TBS chose to completely remove the segment featuring Egawa from the TVer online streaming service.

TBS executive vice president Takanobu Goda attributed the decision to remove the segment to a lack of foresight regarding potential on-air incidents during the live broadcast. The network issued a formal apology via its official X account, expressing regret for the disruption and distress caused to the participants, including Nogizaka and fellow guest An Mika, as well as viewers. Egawa himself previously issued an apology via his YouTube channel. The network stated that the handling of the situation was a result of “an overall judgment” and acknowledged a failure in anticipating the possibility of such an event.
