**Kannur, Kerala –** A volleyball tournament featuring media personnel from across Kerala commenced Friday at Jawahar Stadium in Kannur. Organized by the Kannur Press Club, the sixth annual Thulasi Bhaskaran Memorial Everrolling Trophy tournament is part of an anti-drug awareness campaign. The event was inaugurated by Sports Minister V. Abdurahiman.
Due to inclement weather, matches were postponed until Saturday, May 3rd, resuming at 5 p.m. at the Kannur Municipal School Indoor Stadium. The tournament will culminate in an exhibition match between a celebrity team (including actor Abu Saleem and former Mr. India Shinu Chovva) and a police team. The tournament features teams representing various press clubs and government departments, including the Forest and Central Jail departments. Numerous dignitaries and youth organization leaders attended the opening ceremony.
