**PERAMBALUR, May 2, 2025** – Forty-six organic farmers in Perambalur district received awards Thursday for successfully adopting sustainable farming technologies. The awards ceremony, organized by Velan Muttram and WEFSA Farmers Producers Company at Chokkanathapuram, recognized farmers who implemented 14 technologies developed by Velan Muttram, as well as 27 who received official organic certification from the Agriculture Department. District Superintendent of Police Adarsh Pachera presented the awards. The event also marked the 900th virtual farm meet hosted by Velan Muttram Managing Director Mahendra M. Manivaasan, utilizing a cloud-based video communication app. The showcased technologies were on display at the ceremony.
