**Mangalore, Karnataka, May 2, 2025** – Swasthi Kamath, a tenth-grader from Jnanasudha English Medium High School in Karkala, Udupi district, has achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625 on the recently concluded SSLC-1 examination. Kamath is one of 21 students across Karnataka to achieve this feat. The results were announced today.
In a phone interview with The Hindu, Kamath attributed her success to a consistent study schedule of five hours daily and the support of her teachers and family. She described a stress-free home environment provided by her parents, Janardhan Kamath (a hotel manager) and Shanthi Kamath (a homemaker), as a significant contributing factor. Despite a family background rich in engineering, Kamath aspires to become a cardiologist. She plans to continue her education at the same institution for her PUC (Pre-University Course).
