**Bengaluru, May 2, 2025** – Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) announced the appointment of Hari Kumar R. as its new Director of Research and Development (R&D). Kumar, who previously served as General Manager (Technology Planning), has been with BEL since May 1, 1989. His 36-year career has primarily focused on development and engineering, contributing significantly to BEL’s manufacturing operations through high-quality design and engineering documentation. Kumar holds a B. Tech in Electronics & Communication from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.
