**Kolkata, May 2, 2025** – The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) today announced the results for the Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations. A total of 969,425 students appeared for the exams held from February 10th to 22nd, 2025. The overall pass percentage stands at 86.56%.

Aditro Sarkar from Rajganj secured the top spot, achieving an impressive 99.43% (696 out of 700). The second position was shared by Anubhab Biswas and Soumya Pal, both scoring 99.14%, while Ishani Chakraborty secured third place with 99%. Purba Medinipur district boasted the highest pass percentage at 96.46%.

Results are available online from 9:45 AM today on the official WBBSE websites (wbbse.wb.gov.in and result.wbbsedata.com) and the Hindustan Times portal. Students can access their results using their roll number and date of birth. A mobile app, iresults.net/wbbse-app/, is also available for result checking. Schools will receive marksheets and certificates from Board camp offices starting at 10:00 AM.

A passing grade requires a minimum of 34% in each subject. The WBBSE press conference, which announced these details, included the names of the top ten rank holders and a detailed breakdown of the results. No results were withheld this year.
