**Cleveland, OH** – The Cleveland Browns concluded their 2025 NFL Draft with the addition of seven rookies, bolstering their roster across multiple positions. The team selected DT Mason Graham, LB Carson Schwesinger, RB Quinshon Judson, TE Harold Fannin Jr., QBs Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, and RB Dylan Sampson. These players will participate in rookie minicamp at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus from May 9-11.
General Manager Andrew Berry addressed the surprising selection of two quarterbacks, stating that the Browns adapt to the available players rather than rigidly sticking to pre-draft needs. The decision to draft Sanders in the fifth round, after trading up, was based on their evaluation of him as a “mispriced” prospect with the potential to exceed expectations. Berry highlighted both Gabriel and Sanders’ accuracy and decision-making as key strengths.
Following the draft, the Browns’ most pressing remaining needs appear to be at safety, due to Rodney McLeod’s retirement, and wide receiver, where depth could be improved.
The addition of veteran quarterback Kenny Pickett, though not part of the draft, is also seen as a significant benefit. His three years of NFL experience, combined with Joe Flacco’s veteran presence, will provide valuable mentorship for the rookie quarterbacks. Berry praised Pickett’s mobility and ball protection skills, highlighting the Browns’ familiarity with his game from his time with the Steelers.
