**Vancouver, BC – April 28, 2024** – PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive a trio of new games in May 2025, Sony has announced. *Balatro*, *Ark: Survival Ascended*, and *Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun* will be added to the PS Plus library on May 6th, available to all subscription tiers, including Essential.
This announcement comes on the heels of recent news that over 20 games, including several first-party titles like the *Resistance* series, will be removed from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs. While the removal of first-party games from the service isn’t unprecedented, the timing has drawn criticism, particularly following recent price increases in numerous countries. This price hike affects several regions, including Canada, Australia, and Mexico but notably excludes the United States for now. Other notable games leaving the service include *Grand Theft Auto V*, *Ghostrunner*, and *Infamous: Second Son*.
Subscribers have until May 5th to claim April’s games: *RoboCop: Rogue City*, *The Texas Chainsaw Massacre*, and *Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory*. The May 2025 additions will be available until June 2nd, leaving subscribers eagerly anticipating the June lineup.
