**Newcastle, WA, April 30, 2025** – Three Indian-origin individuals were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at their home in Newcastle, Washington, on April 24th. According to local media reports, Harshavardhana Kikkeri (44), Shwetha Panyam (41), and their 14-year-old son, Dhruva Kikkeri, were discovered deceased.
The King County medical examiner’s office ruled Shwetha and Dhruva’s deaths as homicides, while Harshavardhana’s death was determined to be a suicide. Neighbors described the family as young and previously unremarkable.
Authorities responded to a 911 call on the night of the incident. Reports indicate a child was seen being escorted from the home by investigators.
Harshavardhana and Shwetha were reportedly the founders of Holoworld, an AI technology company based in India. Harshavardhana served as CEO and CTO, while Shwetha held the position of president.
