Narayanan, has predicted that India will be among the world’s leading spacefaring nations by 2040, boasting its own space station. Speaking at the commissioning of a new O-ARM surgical system at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Wednesday, Mr. Narayanan revealed that ISRO aims to launch a 52-tonne space station into orbit by 2035. He added that the organization is currently developing a massive rocket, comparable in size to a 40-story building, to facilitate human spaceflight. Beyond space exploration, Mr. Narayanan encouraged doctors to prioritize ethical practices and extend healthcare to rural communities.
