**TENKASI, INDIA (May 1, 2025)** – A 42-year-old farmer, S. Abraham, was brutally murdered by an armed gang in Periyasamypuram near Sankarankovil, Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday night. The attack occurred while Abraham stood in front of his home.

Police recovered Abraham’s body and transported it to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital for an autopsy. Superintendent of Police S. Aravind has dispatched a special team to investigate the crime. Following the collection of CCTV footage from the surrounding area, two suspects have been apprehended and are currently being interrogated. The motive behind the murder remains under investigation.
