**New Delhi/Kolkata, May 1, 2025** – While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release Class 10 and 12 results sometime this month, reports suggesting an imminent release tomorrow have been refuted by sources. The CBSE is likely to follow its usual practice of announcing results without prior notice to mitigate website traffic issues. Approximately 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board exams this year. Results will be available on cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. Students need at least 33% in each subject to pass; grace marks may be considered in borderline cases.

In contrast, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will release its Madhyamik (Class 10) results tomorrow, May 2nd, at 9 AM. Results will be accessible online at http://www.wbbse.wb.gov.in from 9:45 AM. Schools will receive marksheets and certificates from 10 AM.

Students awaiting CBSE results can also access their marksheets via DigiLocker and the UMANG app using their roll numbers and date of birth. Further details regarding the CBSE results, including the exact date and time, will be announced shortly.
