**Hyderabad, May 1, 2025** – Telangana announced the results of its 10th-grade (SSC) examinations today, revealing a record-high pass rate of 92.78%. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy released the results at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a 94.26% pass rate compared to the boys’ 91.32%. Mahabubabad district topped the list with a 99.29% pass rate, followed by Sangareddy and Jangaon. Vikarabad district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 73.97%.
This year’s pass rate marks the highest in Telangana’s history, excluding the two years impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 4,60,519 out of 4,96,374 regular students passed the examinations.
However, the celebrations were overshadowed by a tragic event. A 15-year-old girl, Naga Chaitanya, from Mallapur village in Rajanna Siricilla district, passed away on April 17th due to illness. She had recently completed her 10th-grade exams and was awaiting her results. Tragically, the results revealed she had topped her school with 510 marks. Her parents mourned the loss of their daughter, highlighting the bittersweet nature of her academic success.
