**Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, India –** Three men have been arrested in connection with the murder of 30-year-old L. Marimuthu following a brawl at a TASMAC bar in Thuppaakudi, Tamil Nadu, on Tuesday night. Police say the altercation began when Marimuthu refused to give cigarettes to Velmurugan, Pattusamy, and Rajapandi. The argument escalated, leading to a violent confrontation. Marimuthu’s brother, Hari, arrived on the scene and was also injured. Marimuthu sustained severe injuries from alleged attacks with liquor bottles and died at the scene. Velmurugan and Rajapandi reportedly confessed to attacking Marimuthu, claiming he verbally abused them. The Superintendent of Police is overseeing the investigation. Hari and Pattusamy are receiving treatment for their injuries.
