**Hyderabad, April 30, 2025** – The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning for 21 districts in Telangana, effective Thursday. The alert predicts isolated thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds across the affected areas.
The districts under the alert include Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal.
Hyderabad residents can expect partly cloudy skies over the next 48 hours, with light to moderate rain or thundershowers and gusty winds. Temperatures are expected to peak around 39°C during the day and dip to a minimum of 26°C.
