**Kozhikode, April 30, 2025** – Renowned Kerala poet Alankode Leelakrishnan has been awarded the prestigious Padmaprabha Literary Award for 2025. The award, established in memory of Padmaprabha Goudar by his son, the late M.P. Veerendrakumar, was announced on Wednesday.
A selection committee comprising poet V. Madhusoodanan Nair, novelist R. Rajasree, and critic Sunil P. Elayidom chose Mr. Leelakrishnan for the honor. The award includes a cash prize of ₹75,000, a citation, and a sculpture.
