Wed Apr 30 01:12:48 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Extends Deadline for Gig Worker Bill Feedback
**Hyderabad, April 30, 2025** – The Telangana government has extended the deadline for public feedback on its draft “Telangana Gig and Platform Workers (Registration, Social Security and Welfare) Act, 2025” by three weeks. The new deadline is now May 19, 2025.
The extension follows numerous requests from stakeholders. The draft bill, aimed at protecting the rights and welfare of gig workers, is available for review on the State Labour department’s website (https://labour.telangana.gov.in/home.do) and the State Government’s portal (https://www.telangana.gov.in/).
Individuals and organizations are encouraged to submit their views and suggestions via email to tg.gig.labour@gmail.com or in physical form to the Commissioner of Labour’s office in Hyderabad. Submissions should clearly state, “Suggestions on Gig workers Bill” on the cover page.
