**Malappuram, Kerala, April 30, 2025** – The first Haj flight from Kerala will depart from Calicut International Airport (Karipur) at 1:20 a.m. on May 10th, carrying 177 pilgrims. A total of 15,870 pilgrims from Kerala will embark on the pilgrimage this year, with 5,361 departing from Karipur across 31 flights between May 10th and 22nd. Flights will also operate from Kannur (29 flights, starting May 11th) and Kochi (21 flights, starting May 16th), totaling 81 flights from the state. Air India Express will handle services from Karipur and Kannur, while Saudi Arabian Airlines will operate from Kochi. Airport officials and Haj Committee representatives have confirmed preparations are underway to ensure smooth operations.
