**Bengaluru, April 30, 2025** – Karnataka students have achieved remarkably high pass rates in the recently declared Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 examinations. A stunning 99.70% of Class 10 students passed, with girls outperforming boys (99.82% vs 99.58%). Similarly, Class 12 students achieved a 99.63% pass rate, with boys slightly ahead of girls (99.65% vs 99.61%).
A total of 29,745 students from 425 schools sat for the Class 10 exams, while 2,442 students from 55 schools took the Class 12 exams. Despite the high overall pass rates, a small number of students failed: 89 in Class 10 and 9 in Class 12.
The results also showed strong performance among students from various categories. Scheduled Caste (SC) students in Class 10 achieved a 99.41% pass rate, while Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) students achieved 99.37% and 99.56% respectively. In Class 12, SC students achieved a 93.81% pass rate, with ST and OBC students achieving 100% pass rates. These results highlight the continued academic success of students across Karnataka.
