**HONOLULU, HI (April 28, 2025)** — Hawaii native Thunderstorm Artis continues his impressive “American Idol” run, securing a spot in the Top 12 after a successful audience vote on Sunday. Tonight, he and the other eleven finalists will compete for a place in the Top 10. The results will be announced at the end of Monday’s live show.

Hawaii residents aged 16 and older can vote for their favorite contestant, including Artis, from 2 p.m. to shortly before 4 p.m. HST today. Voting is available online at http://www.Americanidol.com, through the “American Idol” app, and by text message to 21523 (text “23” for Thunderstorm Artis). Website and app voting requires an ABC account. Standard message and data rates may apply. Each voter can cast up to 30 votes total (up to 10 votes per method).
