**Madurai, Tamil Nadu, April 29, 2025** – The Madurai District Tiny and Small-Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) will host “Food Tech 2025,” a food processing and technology expo, from May 2nd to 4th at the Ida Scudder auditorium. The expo, now in its second year, will feature approximately 100 stalls showcasing food processing machinery and innovative food products.

This year’s event boasts significant support from leading institutions including the Central Food Technology and Research Institute (CFTRI), National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), and the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. A key highlight will be the presence of CFTRI delegates who will conduct conferences and offer training to aspiring entrepreneurs interested in business innovation. This offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs in southern districts, who typically would have to travel to Mysore for such training.

In addition to the food processing focus, the expo will also include a “build expo” showcasing new and traditional construction techniques. The event aims to foster growth in the food processing sector and construction technology within the region.
