**Belagavi, Karnataka –** Karnataka Minister M.B. Patil has called for a strong response to Pakistan following a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Speaking in Vijayapura on Tuesday, Patil evoked the legacy of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, stating that India should “teach Pakistan a lesson” similar to what she did. He condemned the attack, urging global condemnation of terrorism and highlighting Pakistan’s economic instability and internal strife. Patil suggested that even if war were to ensue, India would be victorious.

Patil also announced that a special Cabinet meeting will be held in Vijayapura within the next two months to address local issues in North Karnataka. This follows a successful meeting on MM Hills. He invited MLAs from the region to submit project proposals. The minister’s visit also included the unveiling of a statue of Sangolli Rayanna and participation in the Beeralingeshwara Jatra annual fair.
