Mon Apr 28 18:50:58 UTC 2025: ## Bollywood Actor Arrested in Delhi for Drug Trafficking

**NEW DELHI –** Delhi police have arrested a Nigerian national, Patrik, 47, for drug trafficking. Patrik, who had previously worked in several Bollywood films, was apprehended with 354 grams of drugs (769 tablets) valued at approximately ₹30 lakh (approximately $36,000 USD), along with his accomplice, Shashikant Ravindra Prabhu from Maharashtra. The arrests, made near Mahipalpur, also resulted in the seizure of a scooter used in the drug operation.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Surendra Choudhary, Patrik entered India in 2008 on a business visa but overstayed. After a 2019 arrest for heroin possession resulting in a three-year prison sentence, he reportedly formed connections with other drug dealers. Upon release, he allegedly began supplying drugs across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), recruiting Prabhu to expand his operations. Prabhu was already under investigation for prior drug-related offenses.

The arrests followed a tip-off on April 26th. The investigation is ongoing.
