Mon Apr 28 21:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Fire Country Season 4 Faces Major Cast Shakeup, Spinoff on the Way

**Sonora, CA – April 28, 2025** – CBS’s hit drama *Fire Country* will return for a fourth season this fall, but with significant changes to its cast. Following a cliffhanger Season 3 finale, actors Billy Burke (Vince) and Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela) will not be returning as series regulars. While details remain scarce, the finale depicted a building collapse potentially resulting in Vince’s death, leaving a “devastating loss” for the remaining characters, according to executive producer Tia Napolitano. Max Thieriot (Bode), however, will reprise his role, confirming the finale’s ending as a “game-changer.”

Despite the departures, the show’s renewal reflects its continued success. CBS announced the renewal in February 2024, citing strong viewership numbers—10.6 million multi-platform viewers, with streaming up 43% year-over-year. The network anticipates a fall premiere, likely airing on Fridays as in previous seasons.

The *Fire Country* universe is expanding beyond its flagship series. A spinoff, *Sheriff Country*, starring Morena Baccarin as Sheriff Mickey Fox, is slated for the 2025-2026 season. The possibility of another spinoff featuring Jared Padalecki’s character, Camden Casey, remains open, though there are currently no concrete plans.

Season 4 will focus on the fallout from the Season 3 finale, including the emotional aftermath of the potential loss of Vince and the ongoing challenges faced by the firefighters of Station 42 and Three Rock. The show’s remaining cast includes Max Thieriot, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, and Jordan Calloway.
