**Houston, TX –** The Athletic’s annual anonymous NBA player poll, conducted during the 2025 playoffs, included responses from several Houston Rockets players. While no Rockets player topped any category in the survey of over 158 players (more than a third of the league), several garnered noteworthy mentions.

The poll, conducted from early March to mid-April, ensured anonymity to encourage honest responses. Rockets players’ votes included Dillon Brooks (2.2%) and Jock Landale (1.1%) as the league’s most overrated player, while Amen Thompson (2.2%) and Jalen Green (1.5%) received votes for the most underrated player. The Rockets organization itself received a small percentage (0.7%) of votes for best organization. Ime Udoka was cited as a top coach by some Rockets players.

Perhaps the most surprising result was Rockets center Steven Adams’ ranking as the third most intimidating player to fight (11.3% of votes). One anonymous player described Adams as “stronger than you could ever possibly believe,” highlighting his quiet strength and imposing presence.
