**NEW DELHI** – A Delhi court has granted a 12-day extension of custody for Tahawwur Rana, a key figure in the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The NIA, India’s top anti-terror agency, sought the extension to further its investigation. Rana’s extended custody will allow the agency to continue questioning him regarding his role in the deadly attacks that claimed the lives of hundreds.
