**Allahabad, April 25** – The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) today announced the results of the 2025 Class 12 board examinations, revealing an overall pass percentage of 81.15%. A total of 25,98,560 students appeared for the exams, with 21,08,774 passing. Remarkably, girls significantly outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 86.37% compared to the boys’ 76.60%. This represents a 9.77% gap in favor of female students.

Director of Education (Secondary), Mahendra Dev, announced the results at the council’s headquarters, noting a decrease in the pass percentage compared to last year’s 82.60%. He also highlighted that the evaluation of 1.33 crore answer sheets was completed by 56,066 examiners across 8,140 centers.
Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation, while those who failed will have the opportunity to take a supplementary examination; dates for which will be announced later.
