**Hyderabad, Telangana – April 28, 2025** – A man in his mid-30s was found bludgeoned to death in an elevator shaft at a bank in Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad, early Monday morning. Police discovered the body, yet to be identified, inside the unfinished lift shaft. Inspector D. Srinivas Reddy of Domalguda police station stated that the victim’s clothes were torn, and the body showed signs of a violent assault, likely occurring after 1 a.m.
The gruesome discovery was made after a bank security guard noticed bloodstains outside the building and followed the trail to the construction pit. A murder investigation is underway to identify the victim and apprehend the perpetrators.
