VISAKHAPATNAM, April 28, 2025 – The East Coast Railway will add extra coaches to six trains departing from Visakhapatnam to accommodate increased passenger demand during the month of May. The augmentation, effective May 1st to 31st, addresses the high number of waitlisted passengers. According to a statement released Monday by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. Saandeep of the Waltair Division, the following trains will receive additional general class coaches: 18526/18525 Visakhapatnam-Brahmapur Express (two coaches), 58528/58527 Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger (one coach), 58538/58537 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Express (one coach), 58532/58531 Visakhapatnam-Brahmapur Passenger Express (one coach), 22820/22819 Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Express (two coaches), and 18512/18511 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Express (two coaches).
