**Kozhikode, Kerala – April 28, 2025** – A 17-year-old boy is in police custody after allegedly attacking his 40-year-old neighbor, K. Rajeesh, with a knife in Kallachi near Nadapuram, Kerala. Rajeesh, who suffered serious head injuries, is hospitalized in Kannur.
The attack occurred Sunday night when Rajeesh visited the boy’s home to mediate a family dispute. The boy’s parents had reportedly summoned Rajeesh after the teenager became aggressive and violent towards them. Police recovered the alleged weapon and will present the boy before the Child Welfare Committee.
