Mon Apr 28 01:06:14 UTC 2025: ## Former Intelligence Chief’s Interrogation Delayed Due to Health Concerns
**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, April 28, 2025** – The interrogation of former Andhra Pradesh Intelligence Director-General P.S.R. Anjaneyulu, accused of illegally arresting and harassing actress Kadambari Jethwani, has been delayed due to health concerns. Anjaneyulu, currently under 14-day judicial remand, was granted three-day police custody from April 27th to 29th. However, on Sunday, jail authorities reported that he was suffering from high blood pressure. After examination at the Government General Hospital, doctors deemed him unfit for questioning. The Crime Investigation Department (CID) police were thus unable to interrogate him on the first day of his custody.
Anjaneyulu was arrested days ago in connection with the alleged false case filed against Jethwani and her family in February 2024. The suspended IPS officer is suspected of being a key conspirator in the arrest, which saw Jethwani and her parents detained in Mumbai for 42 days. A complaint filed by Jethwani in September 2024 led to a case being registered against YSRCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar and five police officers, including Anjaneyulu. The CID is investigating the matter.
