The Papanasam dam currently stands at 86.55 feet (out of a maximum 143 feet), with a higher discharge (200 cusecs) than inflow (54.35 cusecs). The Manimuthar dam is even lower, at 85.84 feet (out of 118 feet), with negligible inflow and no discharge. While some areas experienced rainfall in the past 24 hours (Ambasamudram: 3mm, Cheranmahadevi: 24.40mm, Radhapuram: 9.60mm, Kannadian Anicut: 1.60mm), the impact on dam levels appears minimal.
