**Cleveland, OH** – Rain forced the postponement of Friday night’s highly anticipated Cleveland Guardians-Boston Red Sox game, originally scheduled to be broadcast on Apple TV+. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday at Progressive Field.
Game 1 will begin at 1:10 p.m. ET, with right-hander Ben Lively pitching for Cleveland against Boston’s Tanner Houck. This game will be broadcast locally on CLEGuardians.TV and NESN, and on Cleveland radio station WTAM 1100.
The second game, starting at 6:10 p.m. ET, will mark the MLB debut of Guardians left-hander Doug Nikhazy, recently promoted from Triple-A Columbus. He will face Boston’s Walker Buehler. This game will air on CLEGuardians.TV, NESN, WTAM 1100, and WMMS 100.7 FM.
Ticket holders for Friday’s game can use their tickets for Saturday’s 1:10 p.m. game. Those unable to attend the makeup game can exchange their tickets.
