**Bengaluru, April 26, 2025** – The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) announced the launch of a new non-air-conditioned bus service connecting Lingadhiranahalli and Shivajinagar, starting May 1st. The new route aims to improve connectivity for commuters in the western parts of the city, particularly during peak hours.
The bus will depart from Lingadhiranahalli daily at 9:00 a.m., traveling via Sunkadakatte, Kamakshipalya, Magadi Road Toll Gate, and Vidhana Soudha before reaching Shivajinagar. The return journey from Shivajinagar will commence at 5:30 p.m., following the same route. This direct service is expected to benefit students and residents in the area.
