LINCOLN, NE – Nebraska football’s 2025 NFL Draft prospects faced a disappointing Friday night, as none of the Cornhuskers’ players were selected in the first three rounds. This continues a concerning trend for the program, which hasn’t had a Day Two selection since 2022 and hasn’t seen a first-round pick since 2011.
Several Nebraska players are still in contention for selection in Saturday’s final three rounds. Defensive lineman Ty Robinson, who impressed scouts with his athleticism at the combine, is considered a potential fourth-round pick. Defensive back Tommi Hill, despite injury concerns, and receiver Isaiah Neyor, who boasts impressive physical traits, are also projected to be drafted, possibly in rounds five and six respectively. Tight end Thomas Fidone is another potential late-round selection. Defensive lineman Nash Hutmacher remains a possibility but is not currently projected in any mock drafts.
ESPN and USA Today mock drafts project several Huskers to be selected on Saturday. Robinson is projected to the Las Vegas Raiders, Hill to the Minnesota Vikings, and Neyor and Fidone to the Baltimore Ravens.
If three Huskers are drafted on Saturday, it would match Nebraska’s 2022 draft output. Four selections would be the program’s best showing since 2016. The fourth round begins Saturday at 11 a.m. CDT.
